Didn't Sleep Last Night

I had such difficulty falling asleep last night. Even knowing all the tricks of the trade; I still lost some ZZZ's. I know every behavior and thought trick in the book to aid me in sleeping; but for some reason I failed myself. Some nights nothing works and that can leave you feeling hopeless and helpless.

Herbal Tea

As you may have noticed; there are several teas that exist that claim to calm you and ease you into a restful night sleep. Just hold on to that tea bag and take a look at the ingrediants of the tea. Some teas may call themselves "sleepy time teas" but actually contain caffiene. Caffiene is a stimulant and should be ingested in the morning and definetly not at night. Be sure to check out the ingrediants in your tea before drinking.

Time Change

As you all have probably noticed, it gets darker a lot earlier than it used to. With the changing of seasons may come easier sleeping. The air becomes chill and the sky becomes dark in the fall and winter months. This kind of weather is typically associated with snuggling, cozy fires, and sleep. Don't be suprised if you sleeping becomes easier during this time of year.
